Joyce Oliver Wealth Management has celebrated its fifth business anniversary with a move to The Hive.
The wealth management company, which works with individuals, families and businesses, was founded in Elborough Village in Weston-super-Mare in June 2009. Since then the business has grown mainly through recommendation, developing a reputation for success in managing and preserving their clients’ money and building and maintaining close relationships with clients and their beneficiaries.
The business was founded and is managed by Joyce Oliver, who has worked in banking and finance and now has over 23 years experience in the Wealth Management profession. Joyce Oliver Wealth Management offers a wide range of services ranging from tax planning to wealth preservation and specialises in long-term care for individuals to business and personal succession planning, corporate financial planning and guidance on pensions and protection for companies.
The family business which includes Joyce’s husband Ian as Practice Manager is now a five-strong team which prides itself on a professional and personal service addressing individual financial needs and concerns whilst working to the highest professional standards.
Their strong client relationships are built and maintained through personal face-to-face financial advice, the opportunity for clients to regularly review their financial affairs, a distinctive approach to investment management, exclusive regular events designed to keep clients up-to-date on news and changes that may affect their position and a service that listens and ensures its dealings are sensitive to individual needs.
This approach has won Joyce Oliver clients not only from across North Somerset but also through Somerset and Devon and across Wiltshire and Berkshire.
The team also works alongside clients’ own solicitors and accountants providing a complementary service and a fresh perspective to ensure that all aspects of their financial affairs are considered.
“Whilst many people will have at some stage sought advice, we find that for many people this is often fragmented, complicated or no longer relevant. Unfortunately that’s of no value at a time when protecting your assets to provide for your future has never been more important!” explains Joyce.
“I set out five years ago determined to provide a service which is unique, bespoke and tailored to our clients’ financial needs and future aspirations, with a business philosophy focused on being long term trusted advisors delivering quality advice with integrity. We have our own client charter which sets out how we operate and what we deliver to our clients and what we expect from them.
“With most of our business coming through recommendation and our services passed on from clients to their beneficiaries, this approach has helped us build a reputation for excellence. We concentrate on the life of the wealth as well as the wealth of the living.”
Looking forward to the next 10 years, Joyce has a strategy in place for continued growth of her business.
“We provide exceptionally good financial advice and support, comprehensive knowledge and a friendly and personable approach. That’s our niche and we look forward to continuing the rate of growth we have enjoyed in our first five years into our first successful decade.”
Outlining the reasons for the company’s move to The Hive, Joyce said
“We are selectively growing the business and therefore wanted to move to larger premises. The Hive’s location is ideal for easy access to visit our clients in their preferred locations in and around North Somerset, Somerset, Devon, Bristol and beyond and we have superb modern office accommodation in which to welcome our clients if they need to call in and see us. We are delighted with our move.”
